Anna Dunham

Indie-folk singer-songwriter Anna Dunham introduces herself with her full-length debut, “Vulnerability,” via Mon Hills Records. New to the studio but an old friend of her guitar, she offers thoughtful melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

Signing with the WV-indie label in Spring of 2021, Dunham compiled years of original tunes and got to work. Joined by producer Emily Lehr, engineer Chris Kuskey, and a band full of close friends, Dunham has delivered a uniquely complete freshman project. She shared her anthemic first single, “Contradiction” in November 2021 followed by her tender and lush second single, “Nothing Better” in December.

Dunham finds influence in the pop styles of Maggie Rogers, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lawrence as well as folk styles of bands like Caamp, I’m With Her, and Lizzy McAlpine. Her nuanced and cohesive style gives you hints of indie-pop-rock, folk-singer-songwriter, and even bluegrass at times.

Dunham is originally from Granville, Ohio and attends college at West Virginia University. Balancing an eclectic list of interests, she can be found recording acoustic covers of her favorite artists, studying Spanish, or eating a spoonful of chocolate cookie crumble ice cream (her favorite thing).
