Clinton Collins
Clinton Collins grew up in McDowell County, West Virginia, surrounded by the rolling hills that would later inspire his music. As a young boy, he absorbed the sounds of Flatt and Scruggs, and by age 12, he was playing his first Silvertone guitar. From those . early days, music became a constant in Clinton’s life, shaping his journey as an artist.
Collins describes his music as deeply personal yet universally relatable. “My desire is to connect with an audience so that when they hear a song, they don’t hear a Clinton Collins song. They hear a song about themselves.” Clinton’s music reflects his West Virginian roots, blending the spirit of the mountains with heartfelt storytelling. He finds joy in the surprises life brings, a theme that resonates strongly in his work.
